    Description

    Join Our Team as a Financial Analyst at Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division

    We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team at Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division in Newport. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a range of financial management services to support various projects within the Electromagnetic Systems Department. As a Financial Analyst, you will be extracting and analyzing financial data, preparing reports, performing analyses, supporting financial operations, and ensuring accurate financial records.     Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive financial management using Department of Defense financial systems.
    • Develop detailed financial reports and analyses to aid decision-making processes.
    • Analyze financial data to support reporting and forecasting.
    • Provide financial management support while ensuring regulatory compliance.
    • Utilize various tools for financial analysis and reporting.
    • Collaborate with teams to manage budgets and financial performance.
    • Perform cost-benefit analyses for informed financial decisions.
    • Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Experience with DoD financial systems and tools.
    • Proficiency in Tableau, Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
    • Strong analytical and research skills.
    • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
    • Previous experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis.
