Job DescriptionEngage with Global Operations (GOPS) teams (Manufacturing Engineering, Global Procurement, Manufacturingand their support functions) with emphasis on cost reduction, cycle time & lead time reduction, material flow,quality improvements, and efficient manufacturing methods & processes for new products and their transition tovolume manufacturing
Create test sequences, series & parallel testing
Able to define basic test requirements & sucess criteria's for new components like Pressure transducers, Powersupply units, MFC/MFM, leak test etc
Draft out test checklist & procedure inline with product specification & manufacturing best practices
Provide design proposal for test jigs & fixtures to reduce test cycle time & labor hours
Suggest automated test methods to reduce cycle time & labour hours
Read electrical schematics & solve manufacturing test issues
Able to resolve PLC testing issues, robotic & calibration issues and leak test/ROR failures
Prerequisites
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Minimum 6 years of experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Minimum 3 years of experience in New Product Introduction or New Product Transfer role.
Experience in working and interfacing with cross functional teams. Demonstrated ability to influence crossfunctional organization and drive changes.
Experience in implementing Modular testing, System level integrated testing and automated testing.
Knowledge to handle PLC software codes, System software scripts etc
Demonstrated leadership skills with proven track record to drive changes and implement changes to benefit theorganization
Professional Experience
Experience within the Semiconductor/Capital Equipment industry in Manufacturing, Quality and/or engineeringroles in equipment assembly, test
Strong understanding of bill of material structure (Product structure, Family tree, Generic vs. Customization,Merge in Transit) and revision changes
A strong understanding of system functional test in both electrical & mechanical
Ability to test & troubleshoot system level, specfically on CVD/ALD/Epi processes
Experience with SAP and/or major ERP/MRP systems and processes at user level
Knowledge of new product introduction systems, processes and standards
Soft Skills
Exhibits effective leadership, analytical thinking, committed to drive teams to meet business goals.
Strong written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills despite of the level of people
Excellent business acumen, maturity, credibility and intelligence
