    Description

    Dynamic restaurant group seeking a skilled full-time bartender.

    Andrew Michael, led by renowned chefs Andy Ticer and Michael Hudman, is on the lookout for an experienced bartender who can bring excitement to our guests' drinking experience. Successful bartenders will craft both classic and inventive drinks that go above and beyond customer expectations. This position offers a competitive hourly wage along with gratuities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare a variety of beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
    • Engage with customers, take orders, and serve drinks and snacks
    • Understand customers' preferences and provide recommendations
    • Create delicious cocktails by mixing the right ingredients
    • Develop and present a diverse bar menu
    • Verify customers' age and ID to enforce legal drinking regulations
    • Maintain bar inventory, restock supplies, and keep the area clean
    • Focus on delivering exceptional customer service
    • Adhere to all food and beverage guidelines

    Bartenders typically work four to five shifts per week, mainly during evenings and weekends. Full-time team members qualify for health, dental, and vision insurance with support from the employer.

    Requirements

    • Resume and previous bartender experience
    • Thorough understanding of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving
    • Basic computer skills
    • Knowledge of a second language is a bonus
    • Positive demeanor and strong communication abilities
    • Capable of maintaining a well-organized, stocked, and clean bar
    • Familiarity with various cooking techniques
    • Awareness of industry standards and norms
