Residential Truck Driver - Tyngsboro - Republic Services

Position Summary: A CDL (B) Driver is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, providing prompt and complete waste removal services to customers. Additionally, the driver ensures vehicle safety compliance and completes daily reports to address any defects.

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure proper working order of equipment and report any issues.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along designated routes, servicing each customer as identified on the route sheet or assigned by dispatchers and/or supervisors.
• Operate manual and/or automatic controls to lift and load refuse, compact materials, and dispose of collected waste at designated facilities.
• Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and others to provide timely and professional service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag them according to applicable procedures.
• Continuously monitor waste for unacceptable materials.
• Clean areas around accidental spills, adhering to all applicable safety standards and policies.
• Monitor vehicle condition to ensure operational readiness, minimizing downtime.
• Complete required reports, including productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports.
• Maintain adherence to productivity standards to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• FOLLOW ALL REQUIRED SAFETY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
• Actively participate in the Company's ReSOP program.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Good customer service skills to meet and exceed customer expectations; acts in a professional, courteous, and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers.
• Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed efficiently and safely.
• Good follow-through ability; adheres to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise.
• Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules set forth; promotes the Company's safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks.

Minimum Requirements:

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.

Pay Range: $23.40 - $35.10
