Unit / Facility Highlights:
Level 1 Maternal Care unit – handles low-risk births, occasional magnesium sulfate and gestational diabetes patients.
Closed unit – floating is

not required .
Charge nurse present each shift and takes assignments as needed.
Blocked scheduling approved; preference for flexible candidates.

Patient Ratios:
Laboring patients: 1:1

Mom/baby couplets: 1:3

Skills / Experience Required:
Competent in labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
NICU experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to safely administer drips: insulin, magnesium sulfate, Pitocin.
IV pump experience with

Alaris pumps .

Licensure / Certifications:
Active RN license (any state, outside 50-mile radius of facility)
BLS (AHA)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
