    Summary/Objective

    Professor Robert Shand seeks a Research Assistant to work up to 5 hours per week. The selected candidate will provide research support and conduct administrative responsibilities related to a variety of research projects in the economics of education.

    Essential Functions

    Duties include:

  • Literature reviews and annotated bibliographies.
  • Assisting with IRB protocols.
  • Collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Data cleaning.
  • Reviewing drafts of manuscripts to provide feedback and editing support.

    Required Education and Experience

    • The candidate should have a strong foundation in quantitative and qualitative research methods.
    • The ideal candidate will have experience conducting research in one of the following areas: education policy, educational leadership, economics of education, and/or related social science fields.
