Established in Los Angeles in 2012, this family-friendly and cheerful Pike market adjacent neighborhood spot offers crave-worthy dishes such as Smoked Corn Beef Hash, Griddled Sandwiches, Pie à la Mode, Savory or Sweet Waffles, and other delights Cocktails range from seasonal specialties to the classics done right. TASKS AT HAND:

You're a friendly face that enhances our guests' experience by bringing your own flavor to the table
Making sure guests are having a fabulous time, from the moment they arrive until it's time to say goodbye.
Creating a warm, friendly, and laidback atmosphere that turns first-time guests into regulars.
Learning our steps of service, products, menu, and systems inside and out.
Working side by side with kitchen staff and servers to ensure all orders look delicious and match guest requests
Learning the menu front to back so you can present dishes with accuracy
The ability to explain ingredients and preparation methods for each item in a helpful and friendly manner
Developing a sound understanding of table/seat/station numbers, proper table set ups, capacity, and hours of operation
Delivering food and beverage items in a prompt and hospitable manner
Active communication with servers and applicable team members of wait times and any product shortage
Assisting servers with food and beverage service and bussing to ensure guest satisfaction
Maintaining stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
Performing any general cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager to adhere to health standards
Performing other duties as requested, such as cleaning spills, handling guest requests, greeting and seating guests and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Has a strong working knowledge of and passion for the food industry
Displays a strong hands-on approach
Thinks critically and objectively
Guest service oriented
Current Servsafe Food Handler Certificate Required
Flexible schedule - must be available to work a variety of shifts
Perform job junctions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
Prioritize, organize, and follow up
Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment
Follow directions thoroughly
Understand guest's service needs
Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
Work with minimal supervision
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
Ability to carry up to 40lbs.
Ability to walk, stand, and bend continuously throughout the day.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Runner/Busser in a high-quality full service or fast casual environment
Must be able to work a flexible schedule and shifts - weekends & holidays as needed by the department.
Minimum of one-year experience in a similar position
Ability to carry up to 40lbs
