As a Security Officer - Flex Vehicle Rounds in Barrington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to reports with clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and contact site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the logistics and distribution facility, including yard areas, dock doors, trailer rows, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Control access at designated entry points by monitoring pedestrian and vehicle traffic, verifying credentials and/or access authorization, and directing drivers to appropriate check-in areas.
Complete detailed reports of patrols, inspections, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and location management.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
