General Purpose Of Job
Performs leadership and management duties associated with the strategic planning and managing of people, processes and systems to ensure goods are received, stored and shipped effectively while following and enforcing standard operating procedures and maintaining safety and compliance standards for an on-airport warehouse handling imports and exports.
Responsible for the day-to-day safe and efficient operation of cargo operations while ensuring customer service standards and contractual services are met.
Lead and direct all warehouse operations.
Correspond with customers regarding pickup and deliveries.
Lead and conduct shift briefings with subordinate supervisors and employees
Ensure base shift scheduling matches customer demand
Acts as company liaison in matters related to the airport community
Comply with and ensure accountability for Company policies and procedures related to customer service standards, ramp, safety, and security procedures
Ensure a culture that promotes safety through daily observations, shift briefings, routine audits, monthly safety meetings, training, and documented safety procedures.
Conduct incident investigations to determine root causesMay perform tasks such as time and attendance administration and processing new employees.

Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or five (5) related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Proficient with personal computers and Microsoft office products.
Physical Demands
Must be able to operate motorized vehicles. Must have sufficient visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses.
Must have sufficient auditory ability, with or without audio logical devices, to hear alarms, pagers, other warning signals and vehicle signals indicating backward or forward motion.
Must be able to communicate via airfield radios. Must be able to descend to and ascend from a kneeling or crouching position. Must be able to access all areas of the airfield and airport facilities.Must be able to tolerate exposure to temperatures ranging from -20° F to 100°F; dirt, dust, pollen and other airborne particulates; and inclement weather conditions.
Must be able to tolerate exposure to airplane fuels, degreasers, deicers and other chemicals commonly used in operating areas of airports.
Work EnvironmentAirport environment:
Work is performed in both office and outdoor environments, and involves exposure to noise, chemical and other contaminants, moving mechanical hazards, and extreme temperature and weather conditions.
