    *Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)

    Travel Pay Rate:
    Up To $53/hr - Paid Weekly, Stipend available

    Location:
    Atlanta, GA - Perm address must be 50+ miles from facility

    There is a 12hr nights opening in Cherokee, GA as well with a 50 mile radius rule.

    Schedule:
    Openings for 12hr nights and 12hr days

    Contract Duration: 13 weeks contract with a possibility of extension

    *Requirements:
    • GA RN License
    • BLS (AHA), NIHSS
    • Preferred: Chemo Certification
    • 2 years of Oncology RN experience
    *Job Duties: As a Registered Nurse in the Oncology department, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with cancer.


    Your primary duties will include:

    • Administering chemotherapy treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians
    • Monitoring and assessing patients' physical and emotional wellbeing
    • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
    • Educating patients and their families about treatment options, side effects, and selfcare techniques
    • Assisting with pain management and symptom control
    • Performing procedures such as catheterization and wound care
    • Monitoring vital signs and reporting any abnormalities to the healthcare team
    • Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining medical records
    • Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe environment for patients
