Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, regularly update, and audit as needed, Corporate Safety and Environmental compliance policies and procedures.
• Practice safe working techniques and re-enforce the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures as set out by the Company.
• Provide daily guidance and direction in EHS programs at the employee / supervisor level to ensure a common and effective approach;
• Responsible for assisting in the identification of possible safety hazards.
• Ensure that contractor personnel working on the property are in compliance with ATM policies and safety requirements.
• Maintain and update as needed SOP's for all safe work practices and equipment and utilize them in the day to day training.
• Provide advice and assist manufacturing personnel to ensure that personnel are working in a safe manner and following established procedures.
• Provide advice and assist Field Service personnel to ensure that personnel are working in a safe manner and following established procedures.
• Perform necessary Safety, and Environmental Compliance training, including; New Employee Safety Orientations, Annual OSHA Safety Training, LOTO Training, Arc-Flash safety training, Emergency Response training, and any other training requested by department managers, for all U.S. locations.
• Coordinate with Plant Manager on facility deficiencies and monthly safety inspections.
• Coordinate with Service Manager on any noted deficiencies, and conduct customer site safety inspections of service personnel while on the job at customer sites.
• Assist with maintaining the Site Preparedness and Emergency Plans & Procedures.
• Responsible for coordinating regulatory programs and completing necessary applications required for compliance with Federal and State EPA.
• Maintain all logs and documentation associated with permits and regulatory requirements for all U.S. locations.
• Review accidents and incidents which occur in the area of responsibility and conduct field audits, reporting and managing the corrective actions.
• Maintain filing system regarding worker training and safety;
• Maintain working relationships with Regulatory Agencies.
• Lead the Safety Committee.
• Lead the Emergency Response Team and comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Complete customer safety, environmental, quality, and general questionnaires.
• Coordinate plant security and direct the guard service personnel.
• Travel to other ATM sites to conduct safety and environmental compliance audits, provide safety training, and to coordinate efforts of any personnel charged with EHS duties.
• Other duties as required.
