- Read and follow work order specifications via Electronic
Distribution of Orders (EDO) & order hard copies to build and assemble
quality parts in a timely fashion. - Create and sew product according to specifications.
- Assemble custom cover on foam to ensure proper fit.
- Monitor and to stock work area with Velcro, buckles, zippers,
zipper pulls and common loop. - Produce custom orders within 2 days from receipt of order.
- Follow and comply with all safety, work rules, regulations, ISO
procedures, lean Initiatives and lean events. - Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Maintain 5'S
Program. - Assist and Cross train in other departments, as needed, to
ensure products are completed on time. - Maintain
Kanban System and participate in cycle counts. - High
school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum
of 3 years prior industrial sewing experience in manufacturing setting. - Solid
knowledge of company products. - Ability
to read a tape measure. - Basic
mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide). - Ability
to read, write, and understand instruction detail written and communicated in
English. - Good oral and written communication skills in
order to interact with employees and supervisor.
