- Appropriately assesses client treatment needs and provides diversion recommendations to the court.
- Provides periodic written and verbal treatment updates under the supervision of a licensed therapist.
- Coordinates treatment with other providers to ensure best client care.
- Ensures appropriate aftercare plan for all assigned clients.
- Documents in the clinical record according to requirements of the regulatory agencies.
- Provide residential support and oversight in the form of group and individual counseling.
- Performs related duties as required including transportation of clients. Must have a reliable and insured vehicle. Other related duties as assigned.*All agency staff must be awake during all scheduled hours**All agency staff are required to attend all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings
- RequirementsEducation/Experience: Master's Degree in Human Services Field, Psychology, Counseling or related field.

Summary:
The Clinician-I: provides assessment, engagement, care coordination and therapeutic services as part of the Substance Abuse Jail Diversion (JDSA) & Clayton House team.
These services are court and community based and involve being in GA 14 (superior and community) courts and other community-based locations including various inpatient settings.
