Utilizes bio-metric testing results as a basis for coaching individuals. Utilizes department approved education, standards, and health programming to achieve goals. - Rounds to departments/companies as necessary to deliver elements of programming and to follow up on individual's progress as required. Travels as necessary.
- Advises and instructs employees regarding physical fitness, exercise regimens, and various fitness activities. In some cases will demonstrate proper use of fitness equipment. Will advise on proper technique to achieve best results. Will caution and advise individuals to seek approval of their family physician regarding participation in activities.
- Advises and instructs employees on proper nutrition and healthy diet. Provides education and resources regarding nutrition based on department approved education and research.
- Requires a health related degree, i.e. LPN, Health and Wellness Promotion or Exercise Science.
- A minimum of two years of healthcare programming is desired.
- Experience in personal training highly recommended.
- LPNs must have a current active license in the state of Indiana.
