UPMC Western Maryland is seeking a BE/BC general neurosurgeon to join our highly skilled team in Cumberland, MD.


Practice Highlights:
Case mix: 80% spine and 20% cranial
Call will be 1:3 with PA's assisting with first call
Anticipated 1st year volume of ~150 cases and 250+ once established
Level 3 trauma designation
Mid-level support with a PA or NP provided for assistance in OR, helping in clinic, rounding on patients, and for call assistance
State-of-the-art equipment including a Mobias Imaging Airo TruCT Mobile CT System
Recreational Activities
Western Maryland is rich in natural resources that provide the perfect setting for outdoor activities. Its mountains and nearby state parks are great for camping, hiking, fishing, boating, canoeing, hunting, swimming, and biking. Within an hour's drive are popular ski resorts that offer both downhill and cross-country trails.
