    As the Staffing Coordinator at Tuscany Village Nursing Center in Oklahoma City, OK you will serve as the primary contact for all staffing functions at the facility. Youi will schedule and coordinate staffing to ensure accurate and adequate clinical staffing.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Staffing for all nursing personnel (CNA/CMA)
    • Process applications for all positions
    • Schedule and conduct interviews with qualified applicants/candidates
    • Complete new hire reference checks, license/certification verifications
    • Review staffing routinely and adjust based on census
    • Conduct clinical portion of the new hire orientation
    • Conduct drug testing of all new hires
    • Maintain attendance records, excused/unexcused absences
    • Set up, track and log attendance for all State mandated In-services and In-services as required by Administrator and DON
    • Annual Proficiency Testing for Certified Nurse Aides
    • May Participate in assessment and evaluation of nursing staff
    • Maintain copies and track nurse and nurse aide licenses
    • Track, audit and administer TB tests, Flu Shots, etc. for Residents and Employees
    Job Requirements
    • Current, valid licensure as an CMA and CNA is required.
    • Previous experience in a nursing home or home health setting providing care to geriatric-age patients
    • Previous scheduling experience required; KRONOS experience preferred
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed
    • Strong written and verbal skills required
