Keller Freight Solutions is looking for an After Hours Carrier Procurement Rep to join our team Located at 1250 Geneva Blvd., Defiance, OH 43512.

Working hours: 2:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
Salary: $19 - $21 / hour plus competitive commission plan. We pay weekly

Job Overview: This person will handle after-hour calls about available and booked loads, book available loads, and provide customer updates as requested.

What you'll be doing:
Cover all assigned freight following carrier vetting and tracking requirements
(By answering the phone or responding to incoming quotes from Parade)
Complete outbound calls on available freight to cover for the day
Work with carriers to maximize use of load tracking system for maximum freight visibility
Perform check calls to ensure timely pickups and deliveries and communicate issues to Account Management team
Reach out to customers to resolve issues as they occur
Respond to customer requests for load updates as they come in
Review all emails and confirm whether assistance is required
(Reach out to Account Management via text if necessary, as they may not always be monitoring their emails or Teams outside of regular hours)
Follow all required SOPs, responsiveness standards, and training assignments
Send nightly recap to President, Carrier Procurement Lead, and Director of Account Management

HS diploma, College degree preferred
Ability to work independently and make decisions in the best interest of the company
Responsive to incoming requests
Ability to follow established processes
Effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills
Team player that thrives in fast-paced environment
