    Key Responsibilities:


    Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified, Industrial Engineer for our manufacturing facilities located in City of Industry and Oxnard.

    We are looking for someone with previous manufacturing/CI experience to help level up our entire manufacturing operations.

    This position will be responsible for leading continuous improvement projects and be a "leader of change." Must be comfortable working with all levels within the organization.

    Must be able to question the status quo and be an excellent communicator.

    Will be responsible for leading continuous improvement projects, launching new products as well as mentoring and coaching all lean processes.

    Sustain a cross functional CI strategy for the businessApply Lean Manufacturing methodology in the implementation of manufacturing excellence initiatives specifically driven by Daily Management System (DMS) processesLead a portfolio of lean projects directed at increasing efficiencies, reducing waste, and improving quality to provide greater value; implements such tools as...

    5S, Kanban, VSM, Kaizen, RCA, and DMSDesign and build robust scalable processes for new productsLead cross functional DFM studiesTrain, coach, and motivate personnel in the understanding and adoption of new principles and techniques, focusing on measurable safety, quality, cost, and service improvementsDrive the standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practicesSupport and deliver annual operational targets and help drive improvements to achieve those targetsMaintain high quality standards through on-the-floor interactions with employees to ensure quality and accuracy in each step of production process

    Required Experience:

    Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent education; Master's Degree a plus3-5 years of experience leading a teamDemonstrated experience in Lean TechniquesERP System knowledge at intermediate level3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in the Food & Beverage manufacturing industryAbility to use project management tools, MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and Mini-tab in order to efficiently manage the workflow and transactions generated.

    Ability analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and work flowExperienced and knowledgeable in Daily Management System (DMS), Lean Six Sigma (LSS), 5S, KPI, SMED, VSM, and Kaizen

    Preferred Experience:
    Lean Six Sigma green belt certification or equivalentPrior manufacturing or continuous improvement experience

    The salary range for this position is $80,000-100,000 annually.
