    TheLinear Photonics division of MACOM is a leading supplier of RF on fiber analogcommunications equipment. Our products include modules with bandwidths up to 60GHz and are designed for both commercial and harsh environments. In addition, aunique line of time and frequency distribution systems have been developed.

    Responsibilities
    • Development of requirements documents to support product definition.
    • Circuit design and schematic capture to implement product functionality.
    • Work with firmware team to define overall architecture and implementation.
    • Work with mechanical designers to ensure design is suitable for target environment.
    • Support prototype development.
    • Support production as required including documentation.
    • Work with customers as required.
    Requirements
    • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
    • 5 or more years of product development.
    • Experience with design of high-speed digital circuits.
    • Ability to work with Altium or equivalent schematic capture tools.
    • Ability to bring up and trouble shoot boards.
    • Work as part of design team to develop product requirements.
    • Experience with electro-optic components such as lasers and photodiodes.
    • Experience with the design of products for harsh environments is desirable.
    • Due to ITAR regulations, the candidate must be a US person, able to obtain secret level clearance.
