    Admissions Ambassador: Summer Intern

    JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: Ensure all students are enrolled in a timely manner according to
    state statutes and district policies. Work collaboratively with office professionals working within
    the Admissions Department.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. High School Diploma required, 60 college credit hours preferred
    2. Knowledge of office procedures specific to student registration and enrollment.
    3. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
    4. A demonstrated ability to work with data with a high level of accuracy.
    5. Exceptional communication skills to provide quality customer service.
    6. Ability to communicate in a positive manner with internal staff and external community members.
    7. A demonstrated proficiency with computers, data applications ie Microsoft Suites and Google documents and applications.
    8. Excellent writing skills.
    9. Outstanding organizational skills.
    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Register new and returning students to the district.
    2. Follow Admissions procedures and protocol for new and returning student registration
    3. Problem solve registration issues, ie. residency, proof of guardianship, immunization community resources, etc.
    4. Address parent complaints and communicate to a resolution to supervisor as appropriate
    • Assist with processing student registration and enrollment in categories including, but not limited to:Assist Students in Transition Intakes
    • Assist EL Families in enrollment process
    • Assist Foster Care Student Intakes
    • Assist with school transfers and new students and families to our district
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Efficient and effective time management.
    • Perform other duties as assigned
