    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Sr. HR Manager is responsible for maximizing the effectiveness and business impact of HR systems and processes including troubleshooting issues, implementing improvements, and integrating new systems. This role will be key in driving various HR functions within the organization including HRIS administration, reporting, external payroll support, benefits administration, and the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and special projects. Hybrid design of 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days working from home can be effective.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Leads, manages, and makes recommendations for best practices related to HR systems and HR operations across multiple locations.
    • Ensures all people information is up to date, consistent across all locations, and monitored regularly for accuracy.
    • Provides technical support and guidance to the HR Team and other users of HR systems, resolving issues and queries in a timely and professional manner.
    • Generates and analyzes reports and dashboards, providing insights and recommendations to internal customers.
    • Contributes to a wide variety of HR Projects while keeping up to date on the latest developments in HR systems, processes and practices, evaluating and recommending new solutions and best practices.
    • Manages HRIS configuration, security, data management, reporting, and auditing.
    • Develops and maintains documentation, policies, and procedures for core HR systems, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Leads benefits administration including annual renewal process, auditing invoices, and coordinating communications to employees.
    • Main contact to out-sourced payroll, tax, and HR software providers.
    • Manages leave of absence administration.
    • Builds strong, trusting relationships with all levels of the organization to achieve positive results.
    • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment/labor laws and regulations.
    • Other duties as business needs dictate.
    • 8+ years managing HR systems and processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
    • Wide variety of experience in all areas of HR including benefits, policies, compliance, employee relations, and managing external vendors.
    • Aptitude for problem-solving, demonstrated ability to develop reporting systems, analyze data, and recommend effective solutions.
    • Solid business acumen and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
    • Must be detail-oriented, and organized, with effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent people skills and an ability to build relationships with people at all organizational levels, both internal and external to the organization.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Excel.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business/HR/Mgt. preferred but not required.
