- JOB DESCRIPTION: School Food Service Assistant QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrates aptitude for successful performance of the tasks listed.
- REPORTS TO: School Food Service Manager PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve breakfast and lunch to students daily during the school year.
- Enter students ID cards for breakfast and lunch using POS System.
- Participates in staff development, other school food service training, and professional organizations.
- Follows instructions and carries out any responsibility related to school food service assigned by the School Food Service Manager, Principal, or School Food Services Director.
- Follows the daily work schedule and performs additional tasks as requested by the School Food Service Manager.
- Plans for the use of left-over food with the manager and assumes responsibility for storage and disposal of unused foods.
- Performs major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and store rooms at regularly scheduled intervals as designated by the School Food Service Manager.
