Clinic Support Assistant/CNA - Omaha

Job Summary
Perform various duties in support of assigned departments including coordinating clinic schedules accurately taking messages into EPIC responsible for ensuring requests for records are completed receives mails correspondence schedules appointments accurately through obtaining demographics soliciting necessary information ensures positive interaction patient family encounter.Responsibilities
- Maintains daily provider appointment templates at direction approval Administrative Supervisor.
- Pulls processes all fax transmittals directed provides outreach fax support needed.
- Schedule appointments accurately registering patients complete accurate demographic according procedure makes appointments from calls reschedules cancels communicates needed patients families departments clinics schedules interpretation services needed appointments demonstrates positive customer service greeting patients care providers others providers instructions prior appointment directed service department provides directions parking instructions ensured physician orders linked appropriate appointment system assist clinic reminder calls ensures recalls inputted future patient appointments tracks communicates scheduling concerns individuals completes re-scheduling requests policy requests distributes patient medical records responsible outreach reservations flight car rentals hotel ensure crash cart checklist inputting fetal conference data assist nurses Synagis orders issues assists IT clinic equipment issues assist nurses pre-clinic preparation work responsible nurse meeting minutes reservations completes miscellaneous reports letters supports quality initiatives directed sets up Webex meetings cardiology other departments coordinates manages office supply needs provides teleheatlh technical support collaboration RNs visit coordination requested clinical team communicating lab imaging directions families arrival time way finding visit preparation regular attendance essential function perform physical requirements described Physical Requirements section performs BCLS Basic Life Support only required working OR department CNA Certified Nursing Assistant Required Children's best kids Children's put YOU first together improve life child
