- Supply raw materials to assembly departments in accordance with work order and inventory request requirements.
- Adhere to First-In-First-Out (FIFO) policy and all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Verify all material being moved for accuracy of part number, lot and/or serial numbers, and quantity.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records; perform data entry required for inter-department transfers of finished goods, raw materials, and pick parts on work orders.
- Prepare shipments for outside processing or transfer to other locations in accordance with daily shipment requests.
- Maintain a constant and timely flow of finished goods for external shipping.
- Ensure compliant handling and storage conditions for all materials.
- Perform routine cycle counting activities as required.
- Actively participate in annual physical inventory as required.
- Loads and unload trucks of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Identify line issues and other warehouse problems; promptly notify Team Leader or Supervisor of all problems.
- Support all efforts and procedures to maintain optimal warehouse conditions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required, in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and all related SOPs.
- Maintain safe working conditions at all times; adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure warehouse and related areas are continually kept clean. S
- upport efforts to prevent mix-up of products, materials, and other items so cycle and inventory counts are continually accurate.
- Ensure and maintain compliance with the Company's quality system requirements through training and adherence to policies, procedures and processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) to two (2) years previous related warehouse experience; previous experience in a regulated medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment preferred.
- Understanding of inventory and FIFO practices.
- Familiarity with GDP and GMP a plus.
- Basic computer competency; working knowledge of MS Office and experience with larger Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system a plus.
- Basic math, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
