Infectious Disease Physician opening - Des Moines, IA Position DetailsFull-time, employed position
Join a well-established team of 7 Infectious Disease physicians and 2 APPs
Office attached to the primary hospital
Inpatient consults and follow-up at 3 hospitals within a 10-mile radius
Outpatient Infectious Disease consultation and follow-up
Large built-in referral base from extensive primary care network
Participate in a robust antimicrobial stewardship program
Involvement in antimicrobial stewardship and e-consult services at affiliated sites
Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students
Broad case mix including traditional and immunocompromised patients (including kidney transplant)
Requirements MD or DO
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Infectious Disease
Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted Iowa medical license
Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
J-1 waiver sponsorship available
