Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Rounds in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors, and document observations using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing initial incident details to the appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Control access by monitoring entry points, checking credentials as required, and directing visitors to the appropriate destinations in accordance with site procedures.

Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and participate in required briefings and/or post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1+ years of security-related experience.

Be 21+ years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
