    Description

    A services organization in New Jersey is actively seeking a new Supply Chain Project Manager for a great growth opportunity with their expanding team. In this role, the Supply Chain Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication and integration between various IT systems, with a keen understanding of the data that flows behind the scenes.

    Responsibilities:

    The Supply Chain Project Manager will:

    • Integrate current systems with Samsara to ensure efficient data workflows in supply chain and logistics operations
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Samsara's new system into existing logistics infrastructure
    • Develop strategies to enhance data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
    • Implement data governance practices to maintain high-quality data.
    • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing innovative solutions
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa
    • Lead IT projects related to logistics and transportation
    • Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
    • Monitor progress and ensure successful implementation
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on Logistics and Transportation
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
    • Previous experience working with Omnitracs Roadnet and Samsara
    • Proven track record of successfully integrating IT systems
    • Strong analytical skills to dissect complex data flows
    • Great interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Highly organized

    Desired Skills:

    • Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or logistics (e.g., CLTD)
