- Develop, implement, and maintain software solutions to enhance cybersecurity defenses and operational effectiveness of Command IT systems.
- Apply modern software development methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps/DevSecOps, in the design and development of software applications.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to make recommendations to government stakeholders, helping define the nature and scope of IT and cybersecurity issues.
- Prepare detailed reports and present findings to government officials, offering solutions and strategies to improve IT system efficiencies and security.
- Participate in maintaining and enforcing cybersecurity policies and procedures across all Command IT systems
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering or Mathematics (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems).
- More than 1 year of professional experience in software engineering, with a preference for 3 years of direct experience.
- Demonstrated experience with programming concepts and software development methodologies in a professional or academic setting.
- Desired certification in at least one of the following: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.
- Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar tools to implement projects/tasks
- This position requires the candidate to be onsite in Moorestown, NJ.
- Candidates must be eligible for a Secret security clearance.
