    North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC)




    Description:


    The NEMPAC Development Associate role is for an organized and enthusiastic individual with a love for the arts and a drive to generate revenue for organizations like NEMPAC, dedicated to enhancing lives through accessible, high-quality music education and performing arts programs.

    The Development Associate's responsibilities include supporting fundraising and development activities at NEMPAC, handling various tasks from managing donation client relationships, basic administrative duties, coordination of corporate giving, to assisting in online auction execution.

    This part-time position, mostly in-person, offers flexible work hours with occasional night and weekend availability required for special events/programs.



    Expectations and Accountability:
    • Performing development tasks like acknowledgments, gift entry, and donor record keeping
    • Handling donor acknowledgment letters weekly, ensuring accurate tax information
    • Maintaining data integrity through precise data entry and clean-up efforts
    • Assisting with Annual Fundraising Campaigns and Events
    • Coordinating with various team members for fundraising activities and events
    • Engaging donors in different giving programs


    Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of music and performing arts preferred
    • Attention to detail in data entry and reporting
    • Proficiency with CRMs and event management software
    • Strong writing skills
    • Time management and organizational abilities
    • Respect for donor confidentiality
    • Positive and collaborative attitude towards arts community engagement
