    Description

    Surgical Technician Position at Inception

    We are currently on the lookout for a full-time Surgical Technician to join our team at Inception. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to physicians during surgical procedures. Your tasks will include monitoring instrument levels, cleaning and sterilizing surgical tools, and actively participating in team meetings and performance enhancement initiatives under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

    Working Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and holiday shifts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ability to provide age-appropriate care to patients.
    • Familiarity with surgical instruments, techniques, and sterilization processes.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in specific surgical skills.
    • Adherence to prescribed protocols and guidelines within the healthcare setting.
    • Engagement in ongoing learning and development opportunities.
    • Effective communication skills with patients and colleagues.
    • Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.
    • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an operating room.
    • Graduate of an accredited Operating Room Technical School is advantageous.
