Job Requirements

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for analyzing and verifying financial information, reconciling certain general ledger accounts and performing certain month-end close activities for the Corporate location.

The Individual will be working in a fast-paced environment while building relationships within the accounting team and the larger business operations organization (e.g. FP&A, Legal Operations, Treasury, Tax, SEC Reporting, Compliance, etc.).

Responsibilities

Perform certain monthly closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and reportsAssume responsibility for effectively researching, tracking, and resolving (or properly referring) accounting or documentation problems and discrepanciesSupport and serve as backup to team members for the monthly close of accounts receivable, accounts payable & fixed assets, preparation of payroll files for GL upload and other accounting processes as neededAct as a business partner to other departments to obtain and convey information and/or to correct transactionsKey contributor in continuous improvement projects.

Responsible for actively identifying areas of improvement and recommending action plans.

Qualifications

Accountant with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, public accounting experience, preferredCPA, strongly preferredCandidates must possess extremely strong Excel skills.

You will be required to build sophisticated spreadsheets and models.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsA high level of organizational skills plus be very detailed oriented are critical for this position.

Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.

Compensation:
$85,000
