    Are you an experienced Air National Guard Operating Location (AOL) IT/Security SME with demonstrated experience in the execution of distributed Operational Training (OT), which can encompass warfighters in Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) training environments?     A week in the life of an AOL IT/Security SME includes:


    • Installation, support, and maintenance of AOL workstations
    • Configure software, modify software configuration, and perform basic configuration management IAW with all STIGs and other Cybersecurity requirements to include JSIG.
    • Plan for and respond to service outages and other problems.
    • Work as part of project team in design and integration of OTTI technologies and DTOC solutions to meet mission requirements.
    • Provide software application assistance for commonly used office automation applications and M&S tools.
    • Support Host Base Security System (HBSS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions and continuous monitoring.
    • Implement client workstations software patches, security fixes and service releases.
    • Identify, analyze, and document long range requirements.
    • Have working knowledge of Physical Security artifacts required for maintaining Authority to Operate
    • Liaison with AOL Host Base Wing on collection of artifacts that Information Assurance team requires
    • Conduct minimum of 4 visits per year to AOL that doesn't have dedicated IT/Security support
    Job Requirements


    • Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of experience; a combination of experience and education can be used in lieu of a degree
    • Secret Clearance
    • Certifiable knowledge of PC operations and associated peripheral equipment: LANs, WANs, remote access systems, routers, bridges, cabling, firewalls, Linux and Windows NT based operating systems
    • Expertise in principles, practices, and techniques in the installation and maintenance of hardware and software
    • Expertise in network management tools and problem analysis techniques
    • Experience with operating systems and relational database management systems such as SQL Server
    • Functional knowledge of distributed simulation (DIS) and High-Level Architecture (HLA).
    • Minimum three (3) years of employment experience of computer/networking related work within the past three (3) years.
    • Maintain Security + Certification
