    We are looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineering Manager to join our Exlar team

    Electrical Engineering Manager you will, provide the company with effective management and technical leadership of the electrical and software engineering resources to sustain growth, foster innovation and produce products that meet performance, customer requirements, and company profitability objectives.

    You will manage electrical and software engineering activities associated with the Exlar business unit.

    Your Challenge

    Provide leadership and technical direction to the electrical and software engineering staff

    Manage assigned design and development engineering resources

    Deliver technical competence to engage and understand required technical discussions and resulting decisions

    Encourage innovation and creativity in order to improve the company's competitive position with regard to product design and technological developments

    Support the development and implementation of the company's product and technology strategies

    Manage the product development process to achieve necessary development objectives and comply with requirements set by the ISO Quality Management System

    Stay abreast of leading technology breakthroughs and trends as applicable to the company's technical direction

    Periodically present and/or communicate engineering activities and status to upper management and other cross functional departments as needed

    Work with management to assure the strategic direction of the Engineering Department is aligned with the company's goals and objectives

    Assist in developing annual budgets to utilize relevant engineering resources and meet product and technology development requirements of the company

    Responsible for the employment, training and supervision of electrical and software engineering staff

    Support Sales Management in developing and retaining key OEM as required and prepare and present to support the agenda as necessary

    Support supply chain and manufacturing in the sourcing and construction of electronic hardware

    What You Bring

    Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

    Must be a US Citiz

    Industrial grade product experience including:
    Factory automation

    Power electronics and servo amplifiers

    Communications and networks, i.e. Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Ethercat

    Motion/automation firmware & software

    Experience with motion/automation software

    Desired 5+ years of experience managing engineers and/or technical resources and projects

    Project management experience with electronics and software development efforts

    Excellent analysis and decision making skills

    Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office
