    Overview:

    The Strategic Programs Manager role plays a vital role in our continuous improvement journey by driving strategic initiatives and programs, specifically supporting the integration of mergers and acquisitions.

    This role supports the facilitation of our recurring integration activities, and similar work as appropriate reporting into the Director, Strategic Programs. Additionally, the role is responsible for assisting the Chief of Staff manage the tactical integration of acquired companies into PowerSchool people, processes, and systems. PowerSchools acquisition business model is a key element to growth, innovation, and performance that drives forward its strategic mission and objectives.

    Integration work offers an opportunity to touch every part of the organization, solve problems daily, and inspire cross-functional communication and coordination. This role will offer several growth tracks and visibility to the overall SaaS operating model with an overall goal of supporting integrations to successful completion through your assistance of the Director, Strategic Programs and Chief of Staff.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the Director, Strategic Programs in driving collaboration amongst Chief of Staff team as well as stakeholders in Finance, Product, Development, Marketing, and other teams to execute projects, with a specific focus on M&A integration.
    • Help with creation and management of project plans, facilitate on-time execution of project work amongst 15+ functional stakeholders (including meeting scheduling and coordination, agenda management, action-item follow-up, etc.), and conduct review meetings to keep projects on track.
    • Offer insight and alignment of team resources to ensure that our best internal resources are assigned to strategic projects and able to complete related tasks.
    • Facilitate meetings with sponsors and stakeholders to identify project requirements and ensure alignment with PowerSchools strategic goals.
    • Evaluate tools and techniques used within the company to manage projects. Ensure these applications provide features and benefits required by the company.
    • Ensure data integrity, assure scheduling accuracy, and maintain project consistency throughout the organization.
    • Aid cross-functional, high-impact projects as directed by the Chief of Staff.
    • Coordinate consistent reporting on metrics that measure the successful implementation of strategic programs.
    • Metric and project tracking of strategic and business transformation projects.
    • Assist identification of issues that could impact the successful execution and solutions to correct those issues.
    • Partner with the Chief of Staff team on M&A activities to drive acquisition integration milestones.
    Qualifications:

    Qualifications include:

    • Bachelors degree required.
    • 3-5+ years experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, consulting; project management, operations, and data analytics skills necessary.
    • 3-5+ years experience in effectively interacting with senior leaders, program/project managers.
    • Proven experience working in a high pressure, dynamic, and challenging environment.
    • Ability to work across the business, assessing business needs, and assisting in decisions as priorities change.
    • Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information.
    • Strong business acumen.
    • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
    • Ability to communicate and guide across multiple levels and functions of the organization including the C-suite.
    • Demonstrated ability to track, prioritize, and drive concurrent projects to success.
    • Utilize data and metrics to communicate needs with business unit owners.
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as attention to detail; proven ability to create budgets and models easily in Excel spreadsheets required.
    • Preference given to candidates in the greater Folsom, CA area as this role is based at PowerSchool headquarters.

    • Solid analytical skills and able to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
    • Experience in business process assessment, measurement and re-engineering are critical, along with the ability to leverage technology towards business solutions.

    A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $95,500$143,300. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicants skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
