    We are currently seeking an Associate Contracts Specialist to collaborate with our Corporate Contracts team in Orlando, FL.

    3 days in office required.

    Duties:

    • Administer contracts from initiation through evaluation, award, and closeout .

    • Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.

    • Manage contractual baselines by maintaining awareness, compliance and tracking of contract modifications, due dates, deliverables, and entering agreements into the contractual repositories.

    • Maintain contract filing system to ensure accurate tracking of all contract documents, modifications, and other agreements.

    • Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, and other personnel in the section or group.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

    Required Experience:

    • (1) to three (3) years of experience in federal government/industry acquisition, finance, or contracts functions.

    • Experience with a variety of contract types (e.g. CPFF, T&M, and FFP) is preferred.

    • Proficiency using various software, applications, and programs including Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude to manage other database applications, as required.

    • Positive, customer-service focus (internal and external) with the ability to actively listen, elicit information, comprehend issues/needs, inspire teamwork, and recommend solutions.

    • Ability to multi-task, working on several projects simultaneously.

    • Track record of building effective working relationships and communicating successfully.

    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, follow-through on projects from conception to completion, and complete work accurately and timely.

    • Ability to handle unscheduled extended work hours and non-standard workweeks.

    • Demonstrated attention-to-detail, initiative/self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and excellent organizational skills.

    • Flexible and willing to adjust to the needs and priorities of a growing business.
