Description
Vaco has a client in the Charlotte area that is looking for a Controller. Ideal candidates will have extensive accounting experience with a multi-site business model, preferably twenty sites or more. This will be a very hands-on accounting role and the Controller will have full accounting responsibility for all real estate, budget, and P&L related topics for each company location. We are looking for candidates that have a strong understanding of GAAP and experience in an accrual accounting system. We also need someone that has hands-on experience with capital lease accounting work and be able to explain how it works to other staff members.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company that is poised for more growth over the next few years. The Controller will oversee an Accounting Manager and several AP, AR, and Staff Accountant level people and will be tasked with coaching and developing the accounting team and streamlining the month end close.
Base salary for this role is in the 160k to 180k range plus a 20% bonus. The work schedule is hybrid, and they offer a great benefits package.
