a Magnet designated hospital , is currently hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse to support the Cardiology Unit, 4D/5D.
About the Position:
Units 4D/5D are medical cardiology units, each with 18 telemetry beds in private rooms.
We care for patients with various cardiac diagnoses, including heart failure, pulmonary arterial hypertension, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac rhythm disturbances, cardiac catheterization, post-pacemaker/ICD placement, and preparing patients for heart transplant and/or LVAD placement.
We also have the ability for nursing staff to determine step down status care for our patients.The culture on 4D/5D is one that emphasizes patient education, encouraging lifestyle changes that will have a positive impact on heart disease as well as promoting home care.
We have a positive, high-performing team that includes physicians and APPs alongside our unit staff.Our Registered Nurses work rotating shifts including weekends/holidays to ensure 24/7 coverage on the floor.
