    Description
    Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

    Occupational Therapist (OT) - Full-time, School Year

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
    • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
    • Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to promote students' functional independence and participation in school activities.
    • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and relevant records.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
    • Valid Virginia state license as an Occupational Therapist.
    • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational setting.
    • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA and IEP processes.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
