    KO Business Solutions is a professional staffing firm in the Chicagoland area that supports the hiring needs of companies across the country. Our valued industrial staffing partner is looking for an experienced Onsite Staffing Supervisor to join their team

    Location: Onsite, Aurora, IL
    Job Type: Direct Hire
    Payrate: $23.50/hr
    Language: Bilingual, English and Spanish speaking required
    Available shifts:
    • WEEKEND SECOND SHIFT- Saturday-Sunday: 5pm-5am

    The Onsite Supervisor partners with branch personnel to support staffing needs at a manufacturing plant. This role will help manage the new hire onboarding process, payroll process, safety training and daily reporting. In addition, help manage the flow of candidates through the recruitment process by assisting with posting roles, sourcing candidates, and scheduling interviews.


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Assist with the clients onboarding process which includes onboarding paper, on the job training, and orientation.
    • Assist with client's payroll functions which includes submitting timecards, reviewing assignments, administering checks, and reviewing payroll reports.
    • Conduct safety training for all new hires onsite in addition to daily site walkthroughs for safety checks.
    • Maintain daily communication and relationship with the respective client leadership team.
    • Prepare and deliver daily reports for respective clients, reports can include rosters, attendance, and safety reporting.
    • Assists the recruitment team with posting jobs on electronic job boards, sourcing candidates, and initial screening of candidates.
    • Conducts employment related research and assists recruitment teams with electronic and other methods of sourcing qualified candidates.
    • Attends and participates in job fairs, community activities, and other public and departmental recruitment-related events.
    • Represents and promotes organization to potential applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting applicant data.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or GED, required.
    • 1-2 years of related experience working in recruitment functions including recruiting in multiple discipline areas and levels, including hiring for nonexempt, exempt and leadership positions specifically in the staffing industry preferred.
    • Understanding of staffing principles, laws, and procedures and a solid working knowledge of recruitment/employment programs
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    Work Environment:

    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This work environment is a manufacturing/light industrial warehouse where work is performed sitting at a desk. The noise level in the work environment is usually louder, has a colder climate due to the warehouse, and you will be exposed to dust, dirt, and other particles while walking through the warehouse.
