    Job Description

    The Senior Director, Operations Financerole is a highly visible role responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all operational accounting and finance functions. As a key contributor on both the Finance and Operations management teams, the position's expertise will be instrumental in achieving our financial targets and strategic initiatives, while safeguarding our assets, mitigating risks, and fostering a sustainable internal control environment. With the responsibility of overseeing multiple remote teams, this position will demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills and engage with a diverse audience spanning all functions of the organization, including executive management.

    As the Senior Director, Operations Finance, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Serve as a collaborative financial counsel, coach, and business partner byconnecting operational and financial objectives and offeringimpactful expertise and insight.
    • Partner with the Chief Operations Officer and team to develop and drive strategies, plans, and budgetes to drive sustainable growth.
    • Effectively interprets financial results for non-financial executives, providing clear and concise insights to support informed decision-making.
    • Leadand overseemultiple teams, assuming direct responsibility for all financial aspects of operations. This includes managing monthly close processes, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, GAAP compliance, strategic analysis, capital spending, and more.
    • Driveimprovement in the quality of internal and external financial data to enable business decision making and performance.
    • Trackand reportkey performance metrics consistently and accurately for the operations, identifying key drivers and partnering with team to understand trends and identify countermeasures when needed.
    • Ensureeffective & efficient systems and controls are in place within the operations to ensure a sound control environment and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
    • Analyzeinternal factors and external economic financial conditions to determine impact to business
    • Identifyand implementnew technology, systems, and process improvement opportunities that enhance MBC's finance performance, ability to scale and quality of information

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
    • MBA and/or Accounting Masters degree preferred
    • CPA (or Chartered Accountant equivalent) and/or CMA preferred
    • Understanding of and experience with the interpretation and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the Sarbanes Oxley Act
    • Progressive financial experience leading diverse teams at multiple locations within a manufacturing organization
    • Demonstrated ability to develop an efficient and engaged finance team and to manage multiple priorities and team members in an efficient & effective manner
    • Positive and solution-orientated attitude and approach
    • Experience in a multi-division company environment and in a public company setting a plus
    • Excellent analytical and communication skills (oral and written) required
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) required
    • Travel will be required, up to 30%
