Microbial Discovery Group excels in new product innovation, customer focused manufacturing and technical support expertise.The Maintenance Tech II or III/Maintenance Lead position is responsible for coordinating all maintenance activities, including installing, inspecting, diagnosing and repairing equipment at the facility, working closely with Engineering.
RESPONSIBILITIESTroubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and rebuild industrial equipment such as, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and other mechanical equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and conduct necessary maintenance.
Plan, organize and prioritize work schedules for routine, emergency and planned maintenance, workingclosely with EngineeringManage daily activities of the maintenance team, assigning duties as needed.
Manage inventory of supplies and parts, ensuring replacements are ordered in a timely fashionHelp establish and adhere to the Preventive Maintenance programDocument all maintenance and repair activities using a web-based maintenance softwareSupport for non-routine work hoursPerform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
