IT Data Engineer at Eversource

This is a hybrid position where you'll spend the initial three months full-time in the office.

Join Our Team

Eversource is looking for an IT Data Engineer to join their team. As a full stack Data Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in every phase of the SDLC. Your responsibilities will include implementing best practices, enhancing processes, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, and translating them into data solutions with a focus on creating reusable patterns. Additionally, you'll be tasked with building dashboards using analytical and data visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory for efficient ETL processes
Utilize Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other tools to manage data movement and transformation
Create, maintain, and optimize workloads from development to production
Understand the organization's data requirements and business strategy for various product initiatives
Contribute to designing data mappings and SAAS solutions
Collaborate with the team to ensure all components meet project objectives
Monitor and troubleshoot the Data platform
Ensure data solutions adhere to industry best practices and security standards
Effectively communicate with stakeholders regarding project updates and data-related issues

Requirements:

Technical Skills: Azure Ecosystem, ETL, Power BI, PySpark
Proficiency in Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics
Knowledge of ETL tools and DevOps practices
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, preferably Computer Science
Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role
Licenses & Certifications: Cloud certification required; Azure certification preferred

Working Conditions:

Available for emergency restoration assignments
Travel between MA/CT/NH may be necessary

Compensation and Benefits:

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program with an annual salary range between $92,290 and $102,540 plus incentives. Salary will be based on experience. Visit our career site for a comprehensive overview of our benefits.
