The College of Nursing, is seeking applications for a Registered Nurse. The position location will be split between ETSU's University Health Center and the Johnson City Community Health Center.
This position is responsible to the Clinical Director for:
* evaluating and treating patient health complaints following nursing protocols;
* ensuring the scientific application of the principles of nursing science, patient safety, and patient teaching;
* utilizing nursing skills in health promotion, disease prevention, and restoration of health; and
* performing other related duties as assigned.

The employee may be required to move and/or stay in a stationary position in various settings for up to 12 hours at a time in addition to the preparation and closure of a clinical shift.
Rapid mobility may also be required on occasion. Physical expectations of an assigned clinical facility may vary and be subject to change.Stress levels may be high due to frequently dealing with numerous students, patients, family members, and other healthcare providers. This position demands concentration and the ability to work in emotionally charged situations.
