    Project Manager Position Responsibilities

    Manages, oversees and coordinates all aspects for all types of projects including the largest and most complex projects from award through completion of project.

    Manages the execution and review of all scope of work, terms and conditions in customer contracts.

    Proactively manages project financials including coordinating schedule of values, progress billing, invoicing, material and supply procurement, monitoring committed cost, maintaining positive cash flow and assisting in coordinating receivables.

    Translates project requirements into detailed proposals and project implementation plans to meet customer needs.

    Proactively communicates project requirements to project team and wider organization as and when required, and maintains accurate and up to date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing of internal and external reports.

    Identifies potential project risks and develops/implements strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
    Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, services.
    Performs Job Safety Audits (JSAs) as applicable in coordination with company safety officer.
    Prepares close-out documents and participates in hand-over to DAC's Services division.
    May have direct reports and perform managerial responsibilities such as mentoring, coaching, performance appraisals and salary reviews.
    Requirements
    Project Manager Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience preferred
    Advanced understanding of Building Automation Systems, HVAC and other building infrastructure systems
    Strong leadership skills including team building, employee mentoring and development, and the ability to empower others through delegation of responsibility
    Minimum of eight years of previous, relevant engineering, field service or project management experience preferred
    Must have the ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience
    Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently
    Proficient in Microsoft programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, Project and Visio
