We are currently seeking an experienced Back Office Supervisor to join our Plano team.
The Back Office Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring smooth operation of our office by providing oversight for all clinical care activities, managing Medical Assistant staff, and providing excellent customer service to our patients.
Previous supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is required. Active certification for Medical Assistant or LVN is required.Responsibilities:
Provide clinical supervision and guidance to medical assistant staffOversee patient flow and clinic operations to optimize efficiency and patient satisfactionConduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staffApprove timesheets and monitor PTO and overtimeManage inventory and supplies related to clinical operationsCollaborate with Corporate Trainers to coordinate staff training and development initiatives to enhance clinical skills and knowledgeIdentify opportunities to continuously enhance the efficiency and improvement of patient care in the settingProvide coverage for Back Office Medical Assistants when neededOversee and manage Medical Assistant desktopsMonitor provider schedules, add or block appointments, and reschedule patients as neededEnsure adherence to established clinical protocols, procedures, and standards of careKnowledge of and enforcement of all OSHA & HIPAA rules in a clinic settingMaintain confidentiality of patient and personnel informationQualifications:Active Medical Assistant certification or LVN license3 years of previous management or supervisory experience within a medical office or outpatient clinicEMR experience required
