    Position Summary

    **Fully remote position but must be in the office in Portland, Maine based on business needs.


    The Senior Grant Admin - Non Research will centrally manage key administrative aspects of non-research grant and contract proposals and awards across the MaineHealth system.

    This person will manage the process of review and timely submission of non-research grant and contract proposals.

    They will write and/or edit a wide variety of proposals, contracts, and cooperative agreements; assist with the planning, production, review and approval of proposals; assist with the development of complex budgets and budget justications; provide guidance on sponsored program agreements; review grants and contracts for appropriateness; and ensure that awardees are in compliance with established guidelines and administrative practices.

    This position requires knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identication and resolution of grants administration issues and applicable knowledge of laws, regulations, agency policy, precedent cases, and other requirements that aect grant and contract program administration.

    This role includes assistance in planning for future grant submissions; management and reporting of data regarding proposals submitted, grants awarded, and other key benchmarks; and monitoring, assistance and management oversight of post-award administrative and reporting requirements for assigned non-research grants and contracts.

    Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)


    Education:
    Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

    N/A


    Experience:


    At least 5 years progressive experience in grant writing, grant administration and management in a health or health-related field, with demonstrated ability to coordinate large grants and/or contracts from various sources.

    Excellent organizational, communication and management skills.

    Knowledge of information resources, databases, and methods of accessing and using such resources.
