- Providing speech and/or language therapy to childrenreferred forcommunication disorders or delays.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team to adopt a multi-pronged approach in achieving multiple education/developmental goals
- Maintaining accurate service records of students on caseload
- Evaluating students with suspected communication disorders; making recommendations for speech and language services as needed
- Providing comprehensive written report of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within the standards established by state guidelines
- Developing integrated goals with other education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities.
- Consulting with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development, or other areas of curriculum related to speech and language.
- Participating in the Medicaid billing process for school-based services (if needed)

Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists based in the area of Waco TX, and who are passionate about working with the Early Childhood program Soliant has partnered with a small school district, and is seeking an SLP to serve preschool-aged students with exceptional needs.
The SLP will be based in an Early Childhood center, and be part of an interdisciplinary team. The therapist will work closely with a Behavior Specialist, a Resource/Inclusion teacher, and an Early Childhood Special Education teacher.
