LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking candidates in Denver, CO for the position of Director of Procurement. This is a proactive search for future opportunities with our clients, who are leading organizations in various industries.If you are an experienced procurement professional with a strategic vision, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for optimizing supply chain and vendor management, we would love to hear from you.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement policies and strategies that align with the business objectives and values of the organization.
Provide guidance and support to senior management and stakeholders on all procurement matters, including sourcing, contracting, purchasing, risk management, and supplier performance.
Manage procurement projects and initiatives and drive continuous improvement and innovation in procurement practices and processes.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to procurement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's degree or procurement certification is preferred.
At least 10 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior procurement role.
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in all areas of procurement, including strategic sourcing, contract management, category management, supplier relationship management, and cost savings.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive results and deliver value.
Proactive, adaptable, and resilient, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is typically $100-150k+, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
