- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and at least ten years of experience as a SA in similar programs and contracts. (Bachelor's degree may be substituted with five additional years of experience).
- DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or above.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, develop technical strategies, create action plans, and manage IT systems effectively.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph requirement.
- Hands-on experience in IT system configuration and operation, including user accounts, workstations, and dispatch system support.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing LINUX, UNIX, and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. You will be a key player in a significant engineering project for the Intelligence Community. This full-time role requires 1,880 hours of yearly dedicated support on-site.
As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will develop system administration solutions aligned with our strategic objectives. This involves creating comprehensive bills of materials, innovative network designs, and detailed diagrams. You will collaborate closely with network, storage, and server teams to address complex challenges, customize new systems according to capacity needs and user requirements, and assess power, space, cooling, and funding necessities for project success.
