    We are an executive search firm that has been retained by a global leader in the industrial manufacturing space with a drive for sustainability and inclusivity.

    This organization is searching for an Operations Director who will help drive turnaround in one of their fastest growing manufacturing sites in North America.

    This leader will play an integral role in shaping and guiding the future growth of this facility.

    The ideal candidate is an individual who is collaborative and engaging, who can take a hands-on approach to creating a team environment and has experience working and communicating with key stakeholders of the company.

    They are searching for someone with a strong industrial or automotive manufacturing background who can cultivate an inclusive manufacturing environment for all.


    Essential Functions:
    Drives Plant success through collaboration with Sales, Product Line Strategy Teams and Cost Out councils.
    Clear understanding and emphasis of safety measures while driving improvements throughout the manufacturing environment.
    Continuous improvement mindset and clear understanding of lean processes.
    Establishes performance management processes in alignment to company business systems for achieving excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
    Develops and maintains ongoing manufacturing strategy, manage plant site budgets, and implements capital plans to support manufacturing strategy.

    Creates an atmosphere and provides leadership that allows each manager to utilize his/her full potential to achieve plant, business and product line targets.

    Creates organization capability for continued growth and establishes employee relationships with both hourly and salaried employees.
    Understands and implements company business systems processes and tools.
    Works effectively with cross-functional teams and encourages an environment of cooperation.
    Displays passion for growing safety awareness in the organization, striving for best-in-class culture in all areas of performance.


    Requirements:
    Bachelors Degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university.
    A minimum of 6+ years of experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
    Previous Plant Manager/Site Director experience managing a group of Manufacturing Plants Leadership Teams.
    In-depth experience within End-to
    • End Supply Chain Management (SCM) working with procurement, global SCM and customers.
